Tanabe Defense III - S2 Model - White/Black/Grey - Size 25

These Tanabe Defense III gloves are the real deal. Keirin racer gloves. Carbon fiber knuckles, stitched into a SOFT leather form. The defense S and S1 have the built in air ducts (S2 does not) for added comfort and an adjustable Velcro strap to wrap your wrist. Comfortable cannot be used to describe these gloves. Quoting a recent retail customer, “They are so comfortable; I want to wear them all the time, they feel like second skin.”

I have sizes compared to Specialized Ridge Full Finger Glove. Mind you, with the Tanabe glove there is no comparison. I just want you to be able to try on a glove at your local store and feel comfortable buying a Tanabe glove without being able to try one on. If you buy a Tanabe glove based on the Specialized “try-on”, you will find the Defense glove in similar size, but the fit is incomparable. The Defense gloves run in ½ sizes compared to the Ridge full finger gloves.

When you get your Tanabe gloves do not rely on straight finger feel for fit. Wrap your hands around a pair of handlebars; this is when their true fit comes out. For an even better feel for the relationship between glove and bar, wrap these beauties around a pair of Champ or Strong G grips! They’ll stick like glue!
