It's no secret we're HUGE fans of dogs here at our shop. We have three shop dogs currently and two of the three are rescues. Dog fosters' are such an important part of getting a canine pal to a loving home. This is a book from a local Foster who wrote about her experience taking in and rehabilitating dogs in need so that they can someday find a "furever" home.
A Foster's Tail
Our Life with Rescued Dogs
Authored by Michelle R. Grade

This book is the story of one family's adventures in fostering rescued strays. Dogs that were tossed out as trash are brought to Wisconsin to start a fresh life, first with a foster family and then to their "furever" home.
A Foster's Tail chronicles the dog's life while in the care of the foster at Grade Lodge aka "The Lodge" to the time the dog meets his/her new family.
A Foster's Tail tells the story of dogs learning to become good canine citizens or others, already with good manners, just waiting until their families are ready to adopt them.
It is a journey of love, patience and second chances over hills and valleys of tears, giggles and all out belly laughs.
There is a corps of dedicated volunteers who open their arms, their homes their vehicles to the care, healing and transport of these unwanted animals. This is one family's experience with ALL things canine.
Thank you for Thinking Rescue. Thank you for Reading.
