The hardy mechanics of the MI5 hub are also found in the MI6 rear mountain disc hub spaced at 135mm. The hub features a proven 24 tooth engagement ring driven by tool steel pawls. Add to that the oversized steel 15mm axle and a cromo steel freehub body and you have a hub that can be put through the paces. The steel freehub body comes stock on the disc compatible MI6, however, for riders that prefer the lighter weight of titanium, the 6/4 TI driver is an available upgrade. Another distinctive feature to the MI6 is a rotor mount that is machined as part of the hub shell. The advantage to the integral rotor mount is a streamlined hub shell, and, more importantly, the one piece shell is an intrinsically stronger component. Made in the USA
