**Our UHMW caps are designed for use with our UHMW heads which have a larger outer diameter and slightly smaller inner diameter than the red HDPE heads. The yellow HDPE material used for heads has the same ID as our UHMW heads but still has a slightly smaller OD. If you plan on using these caps with HDPE heads you'll have to DIY the outer diameter to match. We've found that the slight loose fit on the red HDPE heads can be "acceptable" with the correct screws.
