Sturmey Archer AW - 3-Speed Rear Hub - 36H - Bar End Shifter

The long awaited 3 Speed Fixed Gear hub has now arrived! Unlike it's traditional Sturmey Archer AW cousin, the direct drive ratio is in gear 3 and not 2, thus giving you two easier gears. Purist may not appreciate the slight play in the freehub body. However, a minor inconvenience to the advantage of gear varieties! You may not even notice it.

• 1st gear = 62.5% 2nd gear = 75% 3rd gear = 100% (direct drive)
• Threaded driver accepts single speed freewheel or Shimano splined 1-speed sprocket
• Cable stop not included
• Note: Shimano cassette and BMX cogs do not slide on easily onto this driver.
• QBP recommends the Surly single speed or Sturmey-Archer S3X cogs
